I am in awe of Jötnar’s execution of his plan. He is nearly finished with the wall. There is little I can do to help, as the stones are far too massive for me to lift. He is able to move them with the assistance of levitation spells – more evidence that his memory is fast improving. I expect that we will finish within the week.
Our conversations have become richer, too. We pass the time testing one another with simple lines of poetry – mostly those of Bragi. I dare not mention any of Odin’s poems, for that god was not held in high honor by the Giants of old.
Perhaps though, I can gently familiarize him with the Alfödr’s good deeds through prose of my own.
